From the President

We have a strong membership of over 130 members who gather once a month from September thru May at Summerfield Crossing Golf Course on the 2nd Wednesday for a luncheon and to get caught up-to-date on friends activities over the last month and to meet new woman in the area and make new friends.  

The club is very active during the course of the year raising monies for college scholarships for Apollo Beach students to continue their education and to lend a helping hand to families in need in our community in addition to supporting worthwhile community activities by holding a:

         Bake Sale at Thanksgiving, having the Annual Fashion          Show in March, and a Gold Show in January.

Although raising funds to support our scholarships and community projects are very important to the club we also like to have fun and explore the area we live in. Several "clubs" within the club exist:

     The Garden Club visits nurseries, gardens (both private and      open to the public) and has speakers on various types of      plants that do well in our part of the world.

     The Culture Club takes a trip once a month to attend      museums, theater productions, showcase houses, etc. and      always has lunch in a new and different restaurant.

     The Bridge Club meets the 4th Monday of every month at      the Golf & Sea Golf Course Clubhouse and is open to all      levels of play.

      The Book Club meets once a month at members homes to      discuss the book of the month and the group also takes      occasional field trips.
