The Culture Club takes a trip once a month to attend  museums,
theater productions, showcase houses, etc. and  always
has lunch in a new and different restaurant.

September 27 Lowry Park Zoo
Tour of Africa Exhibit, Lunch at Reilly's Reserve, Tour of the Asia Exhibit.

October 25 Ghost Tour of Ybor City
Ghostly Journey through the streets of Historic Ybor City. Behind the historical architecture,
unique store fronts, and brick facades you will find murder, mayhem, and ghostly apparitions.
Dinner at Spaghetti Warehouse.

November 15 Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg
Located on the waterfront. Docent tour of museum showcasing art from antiquity to the present.
Lunch at Museum's Cafe.

December 10 Christmas Boat Parade, Sarasota Bay
Watch this fantastic parade of Christmas lights from the inside of "The Barge" as you
cruise through Sarasota Bay.

January Rolling Pin, Brandon
Hands on cooking class! As a team member the team will do the majority of the work on each recipe within the menu.
You will eat for lunch what you have created and take home some great recipes!

February 16 Gamble House
This is a combined trip for the Culture, Garden, and Book Clubs who will enjoy a guided tour of
Major Robert Gamble's historic mansion of an antebellum sugar plantation built in the mid 1800s,
the oldest building in Manatee County. Lunch at the Anna Maria Oyster Bar, Ellenton,
near the outlet mall for shopping after lunch.

February 26 Oscar Night at Tampa Theater
Experience the thrills and excitement of the 85th Academy Awards with a live feed from the Oscars on the screen!
Walk the red carpet, enjoy delicious food, and sample the wine.

April Myakka State Park
Ride on the world's largest airboat on the freshwater lake. After lunch discover old Florida on your Tram Safari.
See the wildlife as you pass through shady hammocks, majestic pine flatwoods fertile marshes and sunny prairies.

May 18 The Straz Center, Carol Morsani Hall
"Postcard from Paris" with romantic French melodies, Edith Piaf classics, Josephine Baker jazz hits, Parisian cafe music,
Django Reinhardt's gypsy jazz, high kicking can-cans, soaring film scores by Michel Legrand
